“Leaf Blower Man”
Written and Sung by Joe J Thomas
(a parody of The Beatles “Nowhere Man”)
He’s a leaf blower man
Making all the noise he can
Blowing with a giant fan’s not neighborly
Doesn’t have a rake or broom
The racket lasts an hour or two
He must have it out for you and me
Blower man, please listen
Your ears must be missin’
Blower man, it’s messier now than when you began
(musical interlude)
He’s as deaf as he can be
On his leaf blowing spree
Blower Man can you hear me at all?
Blower Man, I’m cryin’
Can’t you see how I’m dyin’
Turn it off and throw everything back in your van
Fills the air with toxic fumes
Gasoline and smoky plumes
Global warming gloom and doom for me
Blower man, it’s evening
Please tell me you’re leaving
Blower man, you’re just kicking up piles of sand
He’s a leaf blower man
Making all the noise he can
Blowing with a giant fan’s not neighborly
Blowing with a giant fan’s not neighborly
Blowing with a giant fan’s not neighborly

Perfect, Joe.
My Blower Man will be outside my townhouse window Wednesday morning….just like EVERY Wednesday.
Thnx.
Well, at least he’s predictable!
Nice song. We don’t have a leaf blower problem here but the tricycles taking people back and forth to market seem to think loud mufflers are a requirement for traversing residential streets. We live on a corner, so, naturally the drivers think a little extra punch on the throttle will endear them in the neighborhood.
Thanks! Yeah, it’s hard to be on a major street. We’re in a pretty quiet area, so that’s lucky. Maybe I should write a song on planes, trains and automobiles!
